I am six week into my Full Shoulder Replacement and 2 weeks into PT .I was initially very insecure about the outcome and getting a new Joint is a Life altering decision I made for myself. I remember joking with Dr Shah that I want to go back into my Mountain sports before they took my into the surgery room and he said confidently yes will be able to that.
Well here is the outcome my arm has 180 degree uplift full stretch forward and sideward .I can now work on reaching my back. And most import since from 2013 un 07/20 I had to take Advil every day. I am don't need any pain med anymore.Now I am looking forward to my next adventure in Colombia on my Mountain bike .Thank you Dr Shah!!!

I had a rotator cuff repair 15yrs ago. The rotator tore off again. Another surgeon tried to repair my rotator cuff but the tendons we no longer long enough to reattach. Dr Shah said he could do a tendon transfer from a cadaver. Before the surgery I could not raise my hand to shake someone’s hand. After 12 weeks of recovery, I can full lift my arm up over my head. I am hopeful for a full recovery as I rebuild my strength. Tendon transfers really do work!

Dr Shah did a total shoulder replacement on my right shoulder Dec 1, 2020, which I had a previous surgery on before. After many years it began to give me a lot of pain and I couldn't lift my arm past a certain point. After the pain was too much, and cortisone shots were not helping, I finally decided to get it done. I have total movement just like it was before any injuries! I am now getting a knee replacement, and the knee surgeon asked about the shoulder surgery. He admired the scar and that I had total movement, asked about the procedure, which I couldn't tell him the medical details he was asking. So this is to tell you that he did a wonderful job! Not to say that this wasn't a very painful surgery, because it was! It took several weeks to recover, and intensive physical therapy at a facility (not at home) that made all the difference! I'm proud to have had him as my doctor! If my left shoulder ever needs repaired, I would get him to do it too!!! He's awesome!

Six years ago, my retired firefighter husband broke his leg (multiple breaks) in motorcycle crash. His chances of walking without assistance ever again were slim. Dr. Shah, and his Physician's Assistant Ryan Teague were beyond fantastic. I came in unable to walk, and in extreme pain due to a torn meniscus, and they had me in surgery and on the road to recovery within a week. They were both extremely informative, and responsive to my questions and concerns throughout the process, and they really seemed to understand that it wasn't just about fixing the tear, but getting me back to all the activities I love.

Dr. Shah performed an Open Bicep Tenodesis surgery on me yesterday. He is very confident, matter of fact, and excellent at his craft.
